Without pilots…there is no aviation, and the first step towards becoming a pilot starts with a Flying Gift Card.
Under the expert tuition of our Instructor, Stuart, Mick was at the controls for their flight which took them over the Humber Bridge and to Spurn Point.
Mick said “I really enjoyed the whole visit. My instructor, Stuart was brilliant and all the service was excellent. Soloflight will certainly be seeing me again!”
Soloflight’s Mel Stewart added, “We had a great day and would like to thank leading aviation newspaper, Loop and learntofly.aero who helped arrange the day and all the Members of the Chamber of Commerce who flew with us on their visit and we look forward to the next time”
Carl also enjoyed his flight so much, he wrote to tell us, enclosing the photo on the left.

Private Pilot Licence Course
Should you decide to become a Qualified Pilot, the FAQ page may answer your most common questions. A Flying Gift Card is the first step towards achieving your goal.
Soloflight’s long instructional experience in flying is the guarantee of achieving a Private Pilot Licence with minimum time and expense.
Choosing the right flying school is your single most important requirement. Do not be impressed by claims of cheaper flying rates at the expense of quality instruction. Taking 85 hours (the national average) to complete a 45 hour pilot course is no great recommendation to either your pocket or your ability. With a fully qualified and experienced Instructor, completing your Pilot's Licence within the 45 hours on a full-time course is well within the capabilities of most people.
The National Private Pilot Licence is a 32 hour course and is aimed at people who wish to fly for fun rather than at someone who would like to take trips abroad, add ratings or progress into a career in aviation. More information about both options can be found in the FAQs.
A New Skill.
Many people from all walks of life take up the challenge of learning to fly. The excitement and exhilaration of flying yourself up through the clouds into the blue sky above, is just one of the attractions of training for your own Pilot's Licence.
A New Freedom.
Flying yourself to France on business or pleasure is far less harrowing than going by car or ferry and offers a freedom that has to be experienced to be believed. The removal of common market customs barriers now affords endless opportunities to fly direct to small airfields all over Europe. Both Single and Twin-Engine aircraft are available for you to hire as a qualified Pilot.
A New Challenge.
Take the controls of a light aircraft for yourself through an Introductory Trial Flight. This typical 60 minute experience may be credited towards the time required to earn your Pilot's Licence and our four-seat aircraft gives your friends the chance to join you on the flight for a small extra charge. Flying Gift Cards are available for any occasion, all year round. BUY ONE NOW
